A YELLOW weather warning for rain between 10.10am and 4pm today Saturday August 5 covers parts of the Scottish Borders.
The Met Office say that heavy slow moving showers will give difficult driving conditions and some localised flooding.

It is safer not to drive in these conditions but if you must drive you can do this more safely by: slowing down, using main roads, using dipped headlights, giving yourself more time to react on slippery surfaces and keeping a bigger gap between vehicles

Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible.
Bus and train services may also be affected
