POLICE in the Scottish Borders are asking members of the public to be aware of road safety when parking cars to spectate during the Coldstream ride-outs this week.
Local officers say that there has been an increase in the number of cars attending and parking at various unsuitable locations on ride-out routes.

This increases the risk of road accidents taking place – many of these locations are in national speed limit areas and aren’t suitable parking locations.
A spokesperson said: “We advise against parking on the A6112 during tonight’s ride out to Norham (Monday August 7 ) due to the nature of the road and anticipated traffic volume.”

Horses Depart the Lees at 4pm and arrive at Norham 6pm.
The horses will depart Norham at 7pm and return to Coldstream for 9pm
As always arrival times are approximate although departure times will always remain.
