A SPECIAL convoy entitled ‘One Last Ride’ will take place in the Scottish Borders today Tuesday August 8 2023 in tribute to much loved son, brother, boyfriend, grandson, uncle and nephew Greig Lothian who died suddenly at home in Selkirk last month aged just 20.
Greig’s parents will lead the procession in his Seat Leon, and family and friends are invited to follow.
The convoy will leave from Greig’s home on Raeburn Lane at midday, it will then make its way to Scott's View, via Gattonside pausing briefly, before returning via Selkirk Golf Club to Shawfield Cemetery, at 1.30pm.
There will be no formal dress code, football shirts and scarves can also be worn.
Hibs supporters paid tribute to fellow fan Greig with a minute's applause in the 21st minute of the game against Inter D'Escaldes in Andorra last month and dozens have contributed to a post on Hibs.net with messages of support.
