A GROUP of nine Driffield Rugby Club Has Beens are taking on a 10km open water swim in aid of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation on Saturday August 19.
DRUFC Has Beens Swimming Association was set up by DRUFC stalwarts Dangerous Dave Senior, Mark Shandy Longworth, Chris GB Conway and Marvellous Mike Bailey to help improve and maintain collective fitness levels post lockdown.
The Group meet regularly at Hatfield Water Park in Doncaster at the well run SwimYourSwim sessions.

"Supported by SwimYourSwim we plan to complete a 10km swim in 5 hours either individually (mad forwards) or as part of relay squads and have chosen Doddie's Foundation due to his inspirational character and obvious links to the game we love."
