A MALE motorcyclist has been taken to the Borders General Hospital by ambulance following a collision with a car on a Borders road.
The crash took place on the A68 near Jedburgh shortly after 8am on Monday August 14.
Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene along with a number of police officers.

The extent of the man’s injuries has not been released.
Officers arranged for recovery of the vehicles.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving a car and a motorbike on the A68 near Jedburgh, around 8.10am on Monday, 14 August, 2023.

“The male rider was taken to hospital for treatment. Recovery was arranged.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 08:14 on 14 August to attend a 2 vehicle road traffic collision on the A68.
“We dispatched two ambulances to the scene and one patient was transported to Borders General Hospital.”
