A LOW level Military Exercise will be conducted in the Scottish Borders and beyond over a 17-day period this month, starting on Thursday September 7.

The Exercise will continue until Saturday September 23 and Borderers may witness some activity on two days near the end of the activities.

The Ministry of Defence says the Exercise may involve helicopter activity in the Duns area.
This includes overflights and possibly landings on the ground East of Ladykirk between September 20th and 21st where there will be ground activity including the use of simulated munitions.
