The UK's meteorological body has issued a yellow warning for the whole of the Scottish Borders between 2pm and midnight tomorrow Sunday September 10.

The Met Office say that some affected communities could expect heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some risk of flooding.
There is also a potential risk of travel delays on the roads and for train services.

Spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
Some communities might become cut off if roads flood.

Power cuts might occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.
Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life.
