A MAN has been arrested and charged in connection with a break-in in the Borders.
Yesterday (Tuesday, September 19) Scottish Borders Police launched an appeal following a break-in at a shop in Hawick on Monday, September 18.
A 41-year-old man has now been charged in connection with the break-in which took place at around 3.45am on Monday.
He is due to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court tomorrow (Thursday, September 21).
Inspector Robbie Noble said: “I would like to thank the public for their help as part of this investigation.”
