A MELROSE street is set to close for two days this week to facilitate patching works.
Weirhill Place which is off High Cross Avenue will be closed from 9am to 5pm on Thursday September 21 and Friday September 22.

There is no alternative route.
The closure was announced by Scottish Borders Council who said: “Where we're required to carry out planned maintenance on the road and bridge network, there may not always be enough space to allow a safe working area as well as allow vehicles through the works.

“Where this is the case a road closure is the only appropriate solution to address both traffic and pedestrian management.
“For further information on road works area please call 0300 100 1800.”
