BORDERER Darren Thomson completed his ‘wee wander’ at this year’s Kiltwalk in Edinburgh on Sunday.
And now he is preparing for an even bigger challenge.
Darren uses a wheelchair following a stroke.

On Sunday he completed the 5km route between Gypsy Brae and concludes at Murrayfield Stadium with the assistance of his support worker Alastair Jamieson.
And all money he has raised will go to the Gala Fairydean Rovers Disability Para Football squad to help with transport costs.

Now he’s preparing for the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow in Glasgow on October 1 and has set a target of £2,500 to be divided between Glasgow Children’s Hospital, the Stroke Ward at the BGH and the GFR Para Disability squad.
