A 52-YEAR-OLD man who admitted stalking a former partner at a medical practice in the Borders has been fined £450 at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Mark Bowness, of Crook, near Durham, pleaded guilty to engaging in a course of conduct which was likely to cause fear and alarm between December 1 and December 13.
In addition to the fine he was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge and to stay away from his ex-partner for three years as part of a non-harassment order.
