FAILING to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court cost Philip McMillan a fine of £100 plus a £10 victim surcharge.
The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to failing to appear in court on a previous occasion.
McMillan was given the opportunity of carrying out unpaid work as an alternative to a fine but declined to do so.
