POLICE in the Scottish Borders have confirmed that a 52-year-old woman who was reported missing from Melrose has been traced safe and well.
Officers issued an appeal to help trace Adirlene De Oliveira Santos earlier today and have now thanked the public for sharing their appeal.

The good news was reported by a Police Scotland spokesperson who said: “We can confirm Adirlene De Oliveira Santos, 52, who had been reported missing in Melrose has been traced safely.
“Thank you to everyone who helped with our earlier appeal.”
