A MALE motorcyclist has been taken to hospital in Glasgow following a crash in the Scottish Borders.
The crash took place around 5pm on Sunday October 1 on the A701 road south of Crookhaugh.

The road was closed in both directions to facilitate an investigation and officers issued an appeal on social media asking drivers to avoid the area.
The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 5pm on Sunday, 1 October, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving a motorbike on the A701.
“The male motorcyclist was taken Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing."
