ROAD Policing officers in the Scottish Borders have now issued an appeal for witnesses and dash-cam footage following yesterday’s crash on the A701.
Emergency services were called to the crash involving a motorbike near Tweedsmuir around 4.55pm on Sunday, October 1 2023.
A 62-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Sergeant David Waddell of the Road Policing Unit said: “Our investigations are ongoing, and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the crash take place, who has not yet spoken to police, to contact us.
“We are also keen to obtain any dash-cam from motorists driving on the road around the time of the crash.

“We would like to thank the members of the public who assisted at the scene of the crash this morning.
