POLICE in the Scottish Borders have revealed that a cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £500,000 was discovered during yesterday’s raid on the former Buccleuch Hotel in Hawick
Around 9.40am on Thursday, 5 October, officers executed a warrant at the premises in the town's Trinity Street.
Two men aged 30 and 40 were arrested and were due to appear at Selkirk Sheriff Court today Friday October 6, 2023.

Inspector Robbie Noble said : “We remain committed to disrupting the illicit supply of drugs in our communities and we will use every tool and resource at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from our streets.
