MEMBERS of staff from Asda in Galashiels raised more than £1,000 for the Tickled Pink charity by completing the 21-mile Kiltwalk on Sunday September 17.

Nola Milne, Haydee Lofthouse, Wendy Cessford, Robert Aitken and Gerry Dawson all took part and Nola’s daughter Hope took over when one walker had to drop out due to illness at the halfway point.

The group set off at 9am and crossed the fishing line eight hours later. And even the heavy rain couldn’t dampen their spirits.

Nola said: “So far we have raised more than the £1000 target which is absolutely fantastic.”
