ROSEBANK Road in Hawick will be closed for five days this week to facilitate resurfacing work.
The work which starts this morning Monday October 9 will take place between 9am and 5pm each day.

The alternative route via Crumhaughhill Road, D26/3, D25/3, D24/3 and Haggis Ha’ Brae to point of closure.

The closure was announced by Scottish Borders Council who said: “Where we're required to carry out planned maintenance on the road and bridge network, there may not always be enough space to allow a safe working area as well as allow vehicles through the works.
"Where this is the case a road closure is the only appropriate solution to address both traffic and pedestrian management.
“For further information on road works area please call 0300 100 1800.”
