The A7 road has now re-opened following an earlier closure due to a tree fall.
The announcement was made by Traffic Scotland at 6.15am.

UPDATE from Borders Buses
The 07:50 X95 from Galashiels to Carlisle will terminate at Hawick due to the A7 being closed at Langholm. The X95 10:11 from Carlisle will be operating from Hawick at 11:40

UPDATE:
A large tree fell on the #A7 at Langholm at around 6am this morning. Our team attended with specialist logging equipment and had removed the tree by 8:35am. pic.twitter.com/qYCzUzLd12
