The latest information on Storm Babet’s impact on Borders roads according to Scottish Borders Council is as follows:
As of 6am on Saturday October 21
Harbour Road in Eyemouth remains closed between Marine Parade and The Ship Inn. (Food Barriers deployed)
The B6355 road remains closed at Ellemford due to a landslip.
The following roads are now open and passable with care:
The A6122 near to the junction with Abbey St Bathans (Flooding on road)
The A697 west of the junction with the B461 (Reports of a car stuck in water)
The B6461 west of Winfield Farm (Surface water on road)
The A9089 north of Gordon (Reports of fallen power lines)
The A697 south of Carfraemill (Standing Water across carriageway)
A number of roads have been affected with fallen trees which have now been removed by emergency workers.

The A1107 near Toll Bridge Eyemouth
The A6112 at the junction of the B6470
The A708 near Yarrowfield
The A698 one mile west of Heiton
The A708 at Tinnis
The A708 near the Glen Cafe
The B7072
The A701 near Stanhope
This is the current information available but there may be other roads affected that we are unaware of.
