TWO teenage girls reported missing from Galashiels have been traced according to police.
On Monday October 23 officers issued two appeals for the public’s help to trace Summer Pitillo (14) and Skye McDonald (13) both of whom had been last seen in the Borders town on Sunday night.

The appeals were widely shared on social media and this morning officers confirmed the good news the both girls had been located.
Police Scotland has thanked the public for their assistance in this matter.
