CHIRPY comedian Susan Calman's Grand Day Out television programme will this week feature her visit to the Scottish Borders.
In the popular show, Calman hears about Duns man Jim Clark, a local hero who became Scotland’s first Formula One champion.

She then heads to the base of the Leaderfoot Viaduct, where the Roman Empire’s northernmost amphitheatre once sat, and adds her own touch to one of the largest community arts projects in the world.

In Peebles, she gets a lesson in chocolate, before visiting the world’s oldest working camera obscura and also pays a visit to Dawyck Botanic Gardens.
Susan Calman’s Grand Day Out airs on Channel 5 at 8pm tonight (Friday, October 28).
