Emergency services at the scene of a crash on the A7 between Heriot and Tynehead
The A7 is currently closed between the Heriot and Tynehead junctions due to a road traffic crash.
Police Scotland are at the scene.
Drivers are being asked to avoid the area if possible and use alternative routes if travelling.
UPDATE: 2.50PM
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving two vehicles on the A7 in the Scottish Borders around 12.45pm on Sunday, 29 October.
"Emergency services are at the scene and the road is currently closed between the Heriot and Tynehead junctions."
