DRIVERS using the A7 may experience some delays today Thursday November 2 with two sets of temporary traffic lights and a stop/go board deployed in Selkirk and Hawick.
Portable traffic lights will be deployed in Ettrick Terrace Selkirk to facilitate carriageway patching work.

Other lights in Hawick will operate near to the town’s police station, also to facilitate carriageway patching work.
And a stop/go board will also be deployed in Commercial Road Hawick to facilitate third party works.

The third party works will continue on Friday November 3.
NOTE: A yellow weather warning for rain is in effect for the whole of the Scottish Borders from 6am Thursday November 2 to 6am Friday November 3 which may also affect journey times.
