THE YELLOW weather warning for rain affecting parts of the Scottish Borders today Friday November 3 has been adjusted and extended for another 12-hours.
Some parts of the region have been removed from the extended warning.

However the towns of Kelso and Duns are still affected.
The warning which was set to end at 6am will now finish 6pm.

The MET Office say that heavy rain associated with Storm Ciarán could bring some disruption.
According to the MET Office there is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings along with a slight chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services.

Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures and there is a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads
There is also a slight chance of power cuts and loss of other services to some homes and businesses.
