THREE roads in Borders towns will be closed for two days this week to facilitate patching works.
Hurkur Crescent in Eyemouth will be closed from 8.30am to 5pm on Monday November 6 and Tuesday November 7.
The alternative route is via Northburn Road and Coldingham Road.

The Avenue, Lauder will close between 8am and 5pm on Monday November 6 and Tuesday November 7.
The alternative route is via Castle Wynd, The Row and West High Street to point of closure.

And the B6404 Mertoun Bridge, St Boswells will close between 9am and 4pm on Monday November 6 and Tuesday November 7.
The alternative route is via B6404, A68, A699, B6352, A698, A6089, B6397 and B6404 to point of closure
The closure was announced by Scottish Borders Council who said: “Where we're required to carry out planned maintenance on the road and bridge network, there may not always be enough space to allow a safe working area as well as allow vehicles through the works.
"Where this is the case a road closure is the only appropriate solution to address both traffic and pedestrian management.
