A DEMENTIA-FRIENDLY choir from Peebles has celebrated its first birthday.
Recollective, marked the occasion at Dovecot Court on Tuesday.
The choir – an initiative between Dementia Friendly Tweeddale, Nomad Beat and the Friends of Dovecot Court – is led by music therapist Anna Ludwig.
The group is open to anyone who would like to experience the joy of singing old favourites and the occasional new song; followed by a cup of tea and a chat.
Over the last year, the choir has proved invaluable to people living with dementia and their carers.
Recollective meets weekly at Dovecot Court (Tuesdays at 2.45pm).
