A KELSO man admitted selling drugs to fund his own habit, Jedburgh Sheriff Court has been told.
A police search of 39-year-old Donald Ferguson’s property recovered almost 65 grammes of cannabis.
He pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a class B drug on October 18 last year.
Ferguson also admitted a charge of possession of cannabis on May 17 this year.
Drew Long, prosecuting, said Ferguson told police be began selling the drug otherwise he could not have afforded to get his own.
Defence lawyer Liam Alexander said: “He was very candid with the police and completely honest about his position.”
Ferguson was given a night-time curfew between the hours of 7pm and 7am for the next 60 days.
