A NEW takeaway pizza restaurant is set to open its doors next month.

Domino's Pizza in Hawick will open its doors to customers on Monday, December 4, providing delicious pizzas to the town.

Open seven days a week from 11am to 11pm, the new store is currently hiring staff in roles including shift managers, pizza-makers, and delivery drivers.

Ricky Kandola, Operations Director at SK Group said: “We’re excited to come to the beautiful town of Hawick, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.

"We’re also passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people can grow and develop their careers.

"Over 90 per cent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”

To celebrate the new store, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11am on Monday, December 4 to officially open the new pizza restaurant and staff, members of the community and customers are invited to come along.

At the grand opening there will be the chance to meet the new team making delicious pizzas in the town, as well as the opportunity to sample some tasty and freshly prepared Domino's pizza.

The new store has set up a Facebook page for its Hawick customers to keep them up to date with all they need to know about the store and special offers.
