Yesterday's wind turbine blade delivery to Pines Burn Wind Farm stopped for the day at in Hawick.
The abnormal load convoy set off as planned shortly after 9.30am on Wednesday November 29 from the transition point near St Boswells.

It then travelled via the A68, A6088 then A7 escorted by police officers.
The blade made it to Home Bargains round about where it encountered some technical issues.

When the technical issues were resolved the convoy prepared to continue moving just after 3pm.
However by that time the wind had picked up above the safe limit and that, coupled with the approaching end of daylight hours the decision was taken to remain.
The journey will resume at 9.30am this morning, weather permitting.
