ANOTHER yellow weather warning affecting parts of the Borders will come into effect from 5pm tonight Friday December 1 to 11am on Saturday December 2.
Wintry showers are expected during Friday evening and into Saturday morning.

These are likely to fall onto frozen surfaces, leading to ice.
The MET Office say that showers, falling as snow inland will lead to icy patches and hazardous conditions.
Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.
Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.

Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths.
