ANYONE with a ticket for this year’s panto at the Volunteer Hall in Galashiels is in for a treat.
The Right Angle Theatre Company has once again produced a festive feast of fun with the timeless classic Mother Goose which is sure to have young and old alike clapping, booing, cheering and laughing from the start.
Mother Goose has a loving family who drive her quackers.
When the local squire puts up her rent, they are about to be evicted, but Pricilla – the goose that lays golden eggs – arrives to save the day.
Now Mother Goose has everything anyone could possibly wish for, except the one thing she really wants, to be beautiful.
Then when she makes a deal with Demon Discontent, she ends up with more than she bargained for thanks to some ‘fowl’ play.
With s-peck-tacular sets, and egg-squisite costumes, the show opened on Tuesday evening and will run all the way through to Saturday.
