POLICE in the Scottish Borders are appealing for information to help trace 17-year-old Maddy March, who was last seen in the Philipburn Hotel area of Selkirk at 1pm on Thursday December 14 2023.

Maddy is described as being 5’4”, slim build with long fair hair, wearing a black sheepskin hoody, leggings and trainers and a baseball cap.

Maddy may have travelled to the Fife area.

Inspector William Telford said: “Along with Maddy’s family and friends, we are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing and are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to please come forward.”

“If you can assist our efforts to trace her, please call police on 101, quoting incident 3014 of 14th December 2023.”
