HOME Bargains has warned customers not to use a heater it sold due to fire and overheating concerns.
The discount retailer was selling the PIFCO Convector Heater with Turbo and Timer - it was also available from Quality Save stores.
However, Home Bargains is now recalling heaters sold between November 1 and December 12 as "an incorrect fuse size in some heaters" is causing them to overheat and catch on fire.
Batch codes affected include:
- 596131
- 596133
- 596140
- 596141
- 596147
- 596148
- 596149
Customers with a heater with any of the above batch codes (which can be found on the side of the heater near the control panel) are advised to not use the heater.
For a full refund on heaters with the above batch codes, customers can return the heater to a Home Bargains or Quality Save store.
