Melrose will host Gala for the Waverley Cup.
The annual Boxing Day fixture has been contested 14 times since its launch in 2006.

Last year’s match was played in dreadful conditions of cold, sleet, and a wind blowing the length of the pitch and with the Netherdale floodlights illuminated from the start.
Gala took the honours that day with a comprehensive 43-15 victory.
Melrose have the upper hand having won it seven times, once more than Gala, with one game ending up all square.
So another victory for the maroons would make it honours even.

But the last time the pair met at The Greenyards in September, Melrose ran out 53-31 winners in a thrilling encounter.
The pair were due to have met at Netherdale on December 2 but the game was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
That match has been rescheduled to Saturday January 13.
