THREE female pedestrians have been taken to hospital following a crash on a Borders road.
The collision took place around 3.10pm this afternoon Friday December 22 2023 and involved a vehicle and the three pedestrians.
The road was closed to facilitate an investigation.
Fire crews from Hawick and Kelso responded and assisted in moving the vehicle off the road.
Officers say their enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.10pm on Friday, December 22nd, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving a vehicle and three female pedestrians.
"All three were taken to Borders General Hospital. Enquiries are ongoing. The road is closed.”
