AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following the theft of a £5,000 bicycle from West Linton.
The bike (pictured), which is a Surron make and less than six months old, was left unattended momentarily on St Mungo’s Lea shortly before 10pm on Friday December 15.

A blue coloured Volkswagen Golf car with three persons inside was seen in the vicinity, according to residents.
Officers say that their enquiries are continuing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.50pm on Friday, 15 December, 2023, we received a report of the theft of a bicycle from a property on St Mungo's Lea, West Linton.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
