TICKETS are now on sale for Galashiels Burns Club’s annual supper which takes place at Gala Rugby Club on Friday, January 19.
Brian Goldie, a former president of the Robert Burns Federation, will deliver the Immortal Memory with Ronnie Fleming from Kelso proposing the toast to ‘the lassies’.
The Rev. Graeme Glover, of the Galashiels Church of Scotland, will toast the “Land of Cakes, Caledonia”.
Tickets priced £30 (which includes £1 membership) are available from any committee member or at The Trophy Guy in High Street or A&A Doyle Ltd. in Bank Street.
Ticket stubs and money need to be in by Tuesday, January 9, to allow seating plans to be drawn up.
