A BAND night aimed at young rockers will raise the roof at Eastgate Theatre on Thursday, February 22.
Groups featuring at the Oor Space Youthy-promoted night include 8 Days Band and Radio Silence.
The event is aimed at S1-S6 students and the doors open at 6.45pm.
On its Instagram page Radio Silence says there were a few different members in 2023 and they played their first gig in October.
Radio Silence’s original song Black and Blue was written last year.
The group is currently a five-piece band comprised of: Lara Davidson (vocals), Struan McKenzie (lead guitar), Jay Swann (rhythm guitar), Flora Woods (bass), and Ben Mangen (drums).
The band plays a large range of genres, from grunge to jazz, and covers artists such as Nirvana, Muse, and Blur.
8 Days Band is an alt-rock act comprised of Ailsa Jarvis on drums, Sam Jones on bass, and Fin Price on guitar and vocals.
They were previously called Zenith, but changed their name prior to releasing their first single – having all been born within eight days of each other.
8 Days Band is a alternative rock band playing a mixture of originals and covers.
Recently, they released their debut single You Need It on all major streaming sites.
Tickets for the Teen Band Night are available from Eastgate Theatre or by phoning 01721 725777.
