A BORDERS pub is hosting an annual beer festival featuring ales from around the world.
The Wetherspoons 12-day beer festival will be available at the Hunters Hall in Galashiels next month.
Beers which have been specially brewed for the festival will be available, including those suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
A selection of the international beers come from Taiwan, Italy, Germany and the USA.
Manager of Hunters Hall Deborah Fuller said: "The festival is a great celebration of real ale.
"It will allow us to showcase a selection of superb beers, including those from overseas, over a 12-day period, at great value-for-money prices.
"It will also give our customers the opportunity to enjoy a number of beers which have not previously been available in the pub, as well as those brewed specially for the festival."
As part of the festival each pint will cost just £1.99.
And three third-of-a-pint tasters will be available for the same price.
The beers on offer will include:
- Spring Frenzy (Daleside Brewery)
- Grizzly Bear IPA (Shepherd Neame)
- Disco Macaw (Redpoint Brewing, Taiwan)
- Crafty Fox (Hook Norton Brewery)
- Bite the Bullet! (Oakham Ales)
- Bingo Lady (The Lost Abbey Brewing Company, USA)
- Chocolate Ale (Leikeim Brewery, Germany)
- Parts and Labour (Rooster's Brewery)
- Germain (Brouwerij De Bock, Belgium)
- Roasted Nuts (Rebellion Brewery)
- Falstaff (Birrificio Gregorio, Italy)
The beers which form part of the 12-day festival of beer can be ordered at the Hunters Hall bar or through the Wetherspoons app.
The festival will run from Wednesday, March 6 to Sunday, March 17.
