A HAWICK man has been jailed for two years after being found guilty of assaulting three different partners over an eight-year period.
Dale Devlin, 36, assaulted a woman to her injury at locations in Fife, Edinburgh and the Borders between April 2010 and November 2014.
He also assaulted two other women at properties in Jedburgh and Hawick in 2016 and 2018.
Following a four-day jury trial at Selkirk Sheriff Court, Devlin was found guilty of two assaults to injury, assault and two counts of threatening or abusive behaviour.
Sheriff Tony Kelly said the two-year sentence would start when Devlin’s current prison sentence for police assault was completed.
