UPDATE: Ferne King, who was missing from Hawick, has been traced safe and well, according to police.
CONCERNS are growing for the welfare of a missing Borders woman.
Ferne King, 23, was last seen in the Hawick area at around 8.20am on Thursday (March 14), according to police.
She is described as being 5’1” tall with shoulder-length blonde/light brown hair.
Her clothing is unknown but she regularly wears black, according to officers.
She is believed to be with her dog, which is a grey/brown Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Inspector David Robertson said: “Along with Ferne’s family and friends, we are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing and are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to please come forward.
“If you can assist our efforts to trace her, please call police on 101, quoting incident 0995 of March 14, 2024.”
