A RHINOCEROS spotted in Peebles has garnered interest across the world.
The cut-out rhino, named Roy, is part of Floral Peebles’ ever-popular flash art project.
The initiative is designed to raise a smile with young and old alike across the town.
But its reach is much further than Peebles, with photographs of Roy sent worldwide.
Floral Peebles volunteer John Falla said: “Our friend and fellow volunteer Roy Cornwall, who sadly passed away, commissioned the rhino – hence the name.
“Lots of families have been out on safari also looking for Elly the elephant and Geoff the giraffe.”
He added: “One gent who visits Peebles as often as he possibly can has recently returned from India. He laughed when telling me that all the way to India he never met a rhinoceros. That’s what makes Peebles unique.
“Peebles and District Round Table has kindly sponsored the next flash art.
“Floral Peebles always welcomes new members and any donations to keep its busy schedule going.”
