A BORDERS housing association has launched a recruitment drive for relief staff to work in its sheltered and extra care developments.
Positions include cooks, catering assistants, scheme assistants and support workers to provide cover in Galashiels, Hawick, Kelso and Peebles.
A Eildon Housing spokesperson said: “It would be ideal if you could cover all these sites, but if not, please let us know your preferred location when applying for the role.”
There are also vacancies for support workers to join the new team at the extra care service provided at Poynder Apartments in Kelso.
Support workers play a key role by helping to ensure tenants maintain independent tenancies in a warm, friendly, and safe environment, either directly supporting them in their homes by providing advice, assistance, direct personal and emotional care, or to access and use our social hub for meals and activities at the heart of the development.
