A PEEBLESSHIRE garden is encouraging residents to get a 'spring in their step' by taking part in their range of activities.
The Greener Peebles community garden in Victoria Park has something for gardeners of all ages.
The garden recently celebrated seven years of its Grow Kids group - tailored for families with toddlers.
As part of the celebrations volunteer Nix shared some magic at the four Grow Kids sessions where youngsters could create scarecrows.
Dobbie, Sophia, Betty and Bobby are now on display and are helping to protect the garden.
As an inclusive community garden, Greener Peebles works to help people share their gardening knowledge with others looking to learn.
The garden hosts two weekly drop-in volunteer sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10am to 12pm.
The sessions see gardeners share gardening knowledge over a cuppa before they harvest some of the Greener Peebles produce.
A Greener Peebles spokesperson said: "No experience is required, just enthusiasm and interest for the outdoors.
"In addition there are volunteer opportunities to join our watering, mowing and maintenance teams, or bringing on plants at home for the community garden."
The group also has a number of events planned for the rest of the year.
They will host a series of free well being activities with different outdoor themes including biodiversity, gentle exercise, nature drawing, mindfulness in nature, and crafts.
Greener Peebles will also continue with its community events such as the Young Plant Share (May), Summer Harvest Open Day (August), and the Community Apple Day (October).
The spokesperson added: "There really is something for everyone in our community garden."
