A 36-YEAR-OLD man who admitted being concerned in the supply of heroin has been given an 11-month home night-time curfew.
Sean Ferguson was targeted by police during a raid on a property in Chiefswood Road, Melrose, on February 24 last year.
Selkirk Sheriff Court was told he was found to have £800 in cash in his possession.
Officers discovered a number of purple bags containing brown powder.
Ferguson, of Heiton, near Kelso, also pleaded guilty to being in possession of cannabis.
The curfew means Ferguson must stay in his home between the hours of 7pm and 7am for the next 11 months.
He was also ordered to carry out 280 hours of unpaid work as part of a Community Payback Order.
