A MAN has been arrested after a cannabis cultivation was found in Galashiels, according to police.
The find within a building in Channel Street on Thursday had an estimated value of £150,000, officers said.
The 37-year-old was charged in connection with the discovery.
He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Friday, May 3).
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Thursday, May 2, 2024, a cannabis cultivation estimated at £150,000 was discovered within a building on Channel Street, Galashiels.
“A 37-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this recovery.
“He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday, May 3, 2024."
