A BODY has been found during the search for a missing Borders man in Prague.
Officers in the Czech capital reported yesterday (Sunday, May 5) that a body had been found in the Vltava River while they were searching for missing Joop Sparkes from Galashiels.
Joop, 29, went missing in the early hours of Sunday, April 28, when he went overboard while on a party boat in the city.
It was believed that Joop entered the water at Charles Bridge.
The family have been informed by the police, and the body has not been officially identified.
The family have created a Go Fund Me page to help cover the costs of their search for Joop.
So far the family have raised £11,390.
