ENQUIRIES are ongoing following a four-vehicle crash in the Borders, according to police.
The incident took place at around 11.15am on Wednesday (May 8) on the A68 at Leaderfoot Viaduct.
Emergency services raced to the scene and arranged recovery.
One man was taken to hospital but has since been released.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.15am on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 officers were called to a report of a four-vehicle crash on the A68 at Leaderfoot Viaduct, Melrose.
"Emergency services attended and a man was taken to Borders General Hospital as a precaution and later released.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
