A 34-YEAR-OLD man has admitted exposing his private parts and performing a sex act on himself in the centre of Hawick.
Jamie Beattie, of Gladstone Street, was in a car in the town’s High Street around 5.25pm on August 11 when he was spotted by a member of the public.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court was told the passer-by took pictures of the incident and alerted police.
Beattie – who pleaded guilty to a charge of public indecency – was fined £500 with a £20 victim surcharge.
